TSA SCHOLARSHIP

Truckers Service Association (TSA) was created 20 years ago with a simple but important mission of helping our member professional truckers acquire products and services at reduced rates. Over the years, our mission has remained the same but our offerings have continued to grow based on the premise that our members have varying needs on and off the road.

The TSA educational scholarship program was established in 2016 and provides scholarships and grants to help fund post-secondary education for our members and their dependents. Scholarships are funded by Association leadership and our partners and sponsors.

Eligibility

Scholarship applicants must be:

•  high school graduates or seniors enrolling in an accredited junior college, four-year university of technical school, 
•  a member or a dependent of someone who is a current TSA member at the time the scholarship or grant is issued.

Scholarships and grants are awarded annually in July.
All applicants must fully complete a scholarship application and return it by the prescribed deadline to be eligible.

Applicants are eligible to reapply annually. An individual may receive only one scholarship per year but may be awarded a scholarship in more than one year. A dependent is defined as a child, spouse, parent or certain other relative to whom a TSA contributes all or a major amount of necessary financial support and/or is claimed on the member’s tax return as a dependent.

Selection

The TSA Scholarship Selection Committee will review all submitted applications and award scholarships based on completeness of the application, financial need, past educational accomplishments and career field chosen. The number of scholarships will vary annually based on the number of applications and amount of scholarship funding available. Scholarships will be a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $2500. The decisions of the Committee are final.
